/ January 4, 2012Hey, it’s -19 in Wasilla right now! We’ve not been above 0 for 6 days. Granted, there’s a vast difference between the minus 30’s and -20 but it all really kind of sucks. I was out tonight looking for the Quadrantid meteor shower but gave up as I realized there was a giant ice fog bank right where the shower was happening. I logged into a live stream from NASA to watch from my laptop 🙂
Hang in there, we are just about 5 weeks from mucho awesomeness; even when it’s cold during the last week of Feb and the first few weeks of March it is soooo much lighter and the sun actually provides a nice warm touch. Then before you know it we are all complaining that it’s light all of the time and we haven’t done all of those “arts and crafts” and home projects that we planned for winter!
