We’re headed to Tok this weekend, and I’ve found a babysitter before we even get there. That’s networking in a small “town” for you. (I use quotes around town since I’ve learned that Tok doesn’t have any legal structure – not a town, not a village, just a crossroads as far as I can tell).
The babysitter is even willing to have me bring my 2-year-old to her place starting Monday. She isn’t sure how long she’ll be in town, but for the time being, I’ll be able to work full time during the week. To say I’m relieved is putting it mildly.
Now to find an alternative to the slow DSL Internet connection.
